Option 1: Skills CLI

If you have the Skills CLI:
Start a new agent session. The skill guides your agent through installing the CLI if needed.

Option 2: From the CLI

After installing the BananaSplit CLI:
This automatically installs for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and opencode when their directories are present.

--agent works even before an agent’s directory exists.

These are honored:
  • CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR
  • CODEX_HOME
  • XDG_CONFIG_HOME

Updating the skill

Running install again leaves an identical skill alone. If the skill differs (you edited it), it’s preserved. Use --force to replace with the bundled version:

Reports whether installed skills match the CLI version.

After installing the skill, sign in to your BananaSplit account:
The agent uses your stored credentials. You sign in once; the agent handles the rest.
